BAGNÈRES de LUCHON, FRENCH PYRÉNÉES
LOCATION
Our self catering holiday apartment is situated on the outskirts of Luchon, a delightful spar town on the French side of the central Pyrénées. Within a short walk of shops, bars, restaurants, trains and cable car to ski slopes it makes an excellent base for a holiday.
THE APARTMENT
The modern 3rd floor apartment can sleep 2-4 people. There is a double bedroom with en suite facilities that include a shower. The open plan living and dining area has a sofa bed. Cooking facilities consist of two electric hot plates, a microwave oven/grill, and fridge. There is a TV and radio/CD player. The apartment has a balcony with fine views of the mountains.
There is private parking and communal storage for bikes, skis etc. (Cycles can be hired in Luchon). Also visitors have use of the private tennis court. Heating is by electricity (included in price).
Please note: Sorry no smoking, no pets.
ACTIVITIES
Superbagnéres is the ski resort above Luchon, just a cable car ride away. While in summer there is ample opportunity for cycling, paragliding walking and climbing.
GETTING THERE
Luchon is in the Haute-Garonne district of France, about 140 kilometres southwest of Toulouse with its international airport and car hire facilities. This makes fly-drive a convenient option. Or there is a good rail service to Luchon.
